Costco is now selling an online-only Thanksgiving dinner bundle for $199.99 that is meant to feed up to eight people, with a turkey breast, seven side dishes, rolls, gravy, cranberry relish and two desserts all included.
The 30-pound package is $70 off its regular price of $269.99, and Costco says that discount runs through November 30, while supplies last. That works out to about $25 a person for a table of eight. It ships frozen, and shipping is already built into the price.
The main item is a 5-pound, pre-brined, free-range turkey breast that Costco calls Amish farm-raised. It comes netted and ready to go in the oven. The rest of the box holds 3 pounds each of mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, sweet corn, green bean casserole and cornbread stuffing, plus 2 pounds of candied yams, 24 ounces of turkey gravy, 20 ounces of cranberry relish, and a 2-pound pumpkin pie.
This deal is online only, so you will not spot it in the fresh food aisle at your local warehouse. Costco says shoppers can preorder through November 13 for delivery between November 4 and November 20, though preferred dates depend on availability. Since Thanksgiving falls on November 26 this year, that delivery window closes nearly a week before the big day, so you will need to plan ahead and have freezer space ready.
Keep in mind this is a kit, not a finished meal. The turkey still needs roasting, and the sides need heating or preparing by Costco's instructions.

What this means for you
- If a big shop for many dishes stresses you out, this bundle covers most of the meal in one order.
- Compare it to other stores first. Safeway sells a fully cooked turkey dinner for six to eight at $79.99, Target has a $30 cook-at-home meal for six, and Walmart offers a $35 basket that feeds ten.
- Whole Foods also has a cold, ready-to-reheat dinner for eight that needs 60 to 90 minutes of warming.
- Decide if you want convenience or savings, since Costco's price is higher but includes more prepared items.
This site exists so busy, smart people can follow stories like this without needing a dictionary, and a holiday dinner deal is a good example of news that should be easy to understand in plain terms.
As your next step, check Costco's website today to see if preorder slots and your preferred delivery date are still open.
